Engineering Supervisor - Loris/Little River

Job Description
Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.

Provide general supervision for the Building Maintenance Mechanics, Carpenters and Drywall/Painters as assigned to the Engineering Department.

Ensure that all buildings and structures are well-maintained, including: Ceilings, walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows, furniture, framework, drywall, and locks.

Provide general supervision for the safe and efficient operation of HVAC equipment, including Boilers, Chillers, Pumps, Heat Exchangers, Air Handling equipment, remote terminal units, and follows through to completion any required repairs, preventative maintenance and alterations.

Provide general supervision for the Electrical, HVAC, and Electronics Technicians. Coordinates team activities and team training.

Review Work Orders daily and complete associated tasks and repairs.

Perform other maintenance duties as assigned.

Ensure maintenance of all systems as required by applicable codes and standards.

Ensure that personnel are trained, and supplies are available to keep all structures in good repair Evaluate performance of assigned personnel and assess competencies and deficiencies.

Working weekends and different shifts and taking rotating call will be required.

Updates Building Maintenance job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Work Schedule
80 hours biweekly as scheduled

Licenses and/or Certifications:

  • Due to insurance regulations, must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license.


High school diploma/GED required. Minimum of 10 years of experience maintaining commercial/industrial

Building Maintenance systems will be required with 5 years supervisory experience. Must be able to

demonstrate general computer data entry. Certified Healthcare Operations Professional (CHOP)

Certification preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
