Director Of Engineering Seacoast (20182936)

The Director of Engineering is responsible for critical self-assessments of the current level of compliance for the environment of care and ensures compliance with the Life Safety Code ? (LSC) or an equivalency approved by the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). Duties and responsibilities include departmental budget preparation and compliance with and the performance of total building maintenance programs and activities, including total oversight and management of quality assurance, preventative maintenance programs, and routine repairs and renovations to the physical plant, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical equipment and systems. Responsibilities include translating departmental activities into the required Statement of Conditions (SOC). Must be able to respond to after-hour emergencies as situations warrant and be available to work all shifts and weekends as necessary. Work Schedule Full-time; 80 hours biweekly as scheduled
Skills Required Candidate must possess an Associates Degree in Mechanical (Heating and/or Air Conditioning) or Electrical. Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Electrical Engineering (BSEE) is desirable. A valid Mechanical Contractors license from the S.C. Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation in one (1) or more of the following classifications is helpful but not required:
Air Conditioning
Must demonstrate the ability to read and interpret blueprints, ladder diagrams, and wiring schematics. Must possess and demonstrate strong working knowledge of life safety codes. Must act calmly and efficiently in an emergency. Must be able to maintain budgetary guidelines Must possess a valid SC Drivers License. Requires mastery of applicable SCDHEC, NFPA, and ANSI standards rules and regulations as they pertain to life safety and maintenance, particularly in hospital settings. Must possess validSouth Carolinastate-issued driver's license. Must be able to correctly read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams. Must demonstrate oral and written communications skills, analytical, planning, and trouble shooting skills; must be self motivated and a team player with demonstrated customer services skills. Must be able to demonstrate competency in: general OSHA standards and requirements; proper use/handling of: portable fire extinguisher; hazardous waste; asbestos hazards and safety; Fleet Safety; fire watch safety service; confined space entry procedures; gas detection devices; Lock-out/Tag-out procedures; hot work permits; and computerized maintenance management and work order systems.
Experience Required Minimally requires twelve (12) years experience as Chief Engineer, Director of Plant Operations, or equivalent position in a hospital setting. Minimally requires seven (7) years experience in preparing Statement of Conditions and managing the environment of care to ensure compliance with the Life Safety Code ? (LSC).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
